LUDICRITAL RSS created!

LUDICRITAL, the normal webcomic, now has its own RSS feed so you can keep up to date with any updates! As for the status of the pages, Pages 1-8 are thoroughly done, while Page 9 is still work-in-progress. You can see the WIP page on the site now.

Page 10 and Page 11 WIP

Finally, Page 10 is in what I'd consider a "viewable" state. Page 11's WIP is also available as a highly incomplete sketch. I personally would've liked for P10 to come out a little smoother, but at the same time O don't think it looks too bad.

Pages 11 and 12!

Pages 11 and 12 are out! I thank my strange boost in energy for helping me push through. Strangely, Page 12 took much less time because O was more focused. Neat.

Page 13

Just in time for the end of Thanksgiving weekend, Page 13 is out! I am not exactly tired, but I definitely feel bad for the delay.

Minor Website Update

A tiny update to the website that adds a new webpage: the Info page, where miscellaneous details about Ludicrital and its other related things are. Don't worry, we're not dead, let's just hope no medical malpractice causes it though.

Minor Website Update

Some revisional changes to the website's texts and layout, nothing too drastic. I swear, this comic isn't dead.

Pages 16 and 17 WIP

Holy SHIT, I take too long. Sorry for the wait, I've got caught up in mainly internal conflicts, lack of motivation, and working on other projects. A reminder you can see them on my Git repositories. I'll put up the WIP renders of pages 16 and 17.

Page 17 Finished

In a brief period of productivity, I managed to finish page 17. I also tweaked page 15 since there were some small errors (missing colors), but that's a minor edit.

Minor Site Changes

I did some tweaking work to the site: the booklist is now the preferred method of reading (the Javascript comic reader is still present), along with some other general changes.

Dirty Pages and Some Miscellaneous Updates

Made some page exports for pages 18 and 19, and did some modifications to the HTML pages, including changing some page titles and overhauling a section in the FAQ.

Happy New Year! WIP Page 20

Just in time for 2025, I got off my ass to actually do something with this comic! Here's a WIP page 20. I also re-exported page 18 because I tweaked it a bit.

Aileron Re-render

I did an edit of every page to change the font used from DejaVu Sans to Aileron, a CC0 font. Now, every page should be undoubtedly CC0.

WIP Page 21 and Finished Page 22, No More JavaScript!

I actually did something! Again! I haven't gotten around to finishing Page 21, but I've gotten Page 22 down, and I've also made a serious change to the site: the comic reader no longer uses JavaScript, instead using statically generated pages. This is for a few reasons, one being that JavaScript, as a bloated technology, eats resources like a hog and encourages browsers to bloat themselves up to support it.

Page 23, Fixed Typo

Page 23's out, and I also fixed a typo in the booklist link in the new comic viewer pages, so they should link to the Booklist properly.

Page 24, Internal Edits

I'm way too lazy for this crap. Anyway, I got Page 24 out and also did some filesize reduction in the webcomic's repo, so the source files should be smaller. I also got rid of Lukifer (WTH)'s character sheet since it's unnecessary and irrelevant to LUDICRITAL.

Repo Reformat

Forgot to document Page 25's release, and I just got Page 26 out. A good while ago I also rearranged the source repository, giving each comic page its own XCF instead of having 3 pages per XCF like I've been doing. For some reason, that alone reduced the file size quite a bit. Anyway, happy 2-days-late Halloween!

New Year, New LUDICRITAL

Happy new year! I've done two things to the site and the comic: I got rid of the CSS and made the HTML friendly to older and limited browsers (e.g. Lynx / Links) in the true spirit of the old web (and also to go against the crappy "modern" standards) and I've reduced the scope of the webcomic to just 2 acts and I'm also rewriting the story from where I've drawn up to, because I don't think it was shaping up to "psychological horror" standards. I have no idea when I'm gonna be drawing, but I sure hope it's soon.

Page 27 Released

Why am I always so late with this crap? Well I was busy with both Redmond and Bluu, and LRSketch (a minimalist art program of mine), and also with LUDICRITAL in very, very tiny amounts. But finally I got off my ass for the hundredth time and actually put out Page 27. Now it's time to wait 10 millenia for me to make Page 28. :)
